The Regional Development Agency of Gorenjska, in association with the Centre of Mobility Kranj, organized a promotional information event for the Cycling Waterways project on September 21st, 2024.
Attendees were provided with various informational materials aimed at promoting cycling, sports, and outdoor activities. The event was designed to be highly interactive; participants who shared their suggestions on how to improve route and traffic space safety in the region received a practical cycling-related gift, such as a bike repair kit, helmet/bike seat protective cover, helmet under cap, or water bottle.
The event was strategically held within the European Mobility Week and took place at a popular weekend hiking and cycling destination near the city of Kranj. It attracted a diverse crowd, including people of all ages and athletic abilities, from those new to waterway cycling to those already familiar with cycling routes alongside Gorenjska’s picturesque lakes and rivers.
