Welcome to the website of the Regional Development Agency of Gorenjska – BSC Kranj!

We are committed to promoting sustainable regional development and creating development opportunities for local communities. With our operations, we respond to the challenges of a changing society and with our activities we respond to the needs of the local environment and global development trends.

Since 1995, we have been actively engaged in supporting entrepreneurship, preparing development documents, and executing various projects. Our involvement extends to securing funding from both national and European development sources, facilitating the expansion of our partner network. This approach not only broadens our knowledge and experience in international cooperation but also allows us to contribute valuable insights to the local community.

We promote the development of the Gorenjska region, which includes 18 municipalities: Bled, Bohinj, Cerklje na Gorenjska, Gorenja vas – Poljane, Gorje, Jesenice, Jezersko, Kranj, Kranjska Gora, Naklo, Preddvor, Radovljica, Šenčur, Škofja Loka, Tržič, Železniki, Žiri and Žirovnica. We represent the interests of our region and promote it at the national and international level.

Our mission is to develop and implement projects in the Gorenjska region, focusing on making development documents, encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation, and fostering sustainable growth. Through collaboration with local, regional, and national partners, as well as an extensive international network, we play a pivotal role in shaping the Gorenjska region’s development. As a bridge between municipalities, the economy, public institutions, and the non-governmental sector, we execute projects aligned with the vision outlined in the Regional Development Programme: “High quality of life for all generations in a connected, energy-efficient, and clean Alpine region.”
